[An experience in using a formalized protocol in describing digital fluorograms].

The case study deals with designing the formalized flow for digital photofluorogram and with results of their clinical testing. Recommendations are defined for improving the protocol program.

[Digital fluorographs for early detection and diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis].

Under the conditions of out health care system it is best to install first small-dose digital fluorographs at urban polyclinics and use as movable plants. The basis of a diagnostic study of pulmonary tuberculosis is to monitor X-ray changes in the process by a series of X-ray images and tomographic scans. At the same time paper imprints obtained by printers (including laser ones) lose as much as 30% of image details so computer images rather than hard paper copies should be used for comparison in practice of the X-ray units of dispensaries.

[Analysis of the effectiveness of algorithms in enhancing the informative value of X-ray images in digital fluorography].

The paper deals with the synthesis of algorithms for non-linear control of the degree of contrast of digital chest images by bringing the baseline histogram of brightness to the prearranged form and with practical analysis of the efficiency of the algorithms derived.

[Potentialities of digital low-dose x-ray apparatus in the diagnosis of heart and lung diseases].

The paper presents experience in clinically testing a digital low-dose X-ray apparatus. X-ray studies were performed in 169 patients: 140 with cardiovascular abnormalities and 19 with lung diseases. The findings show the high quality of images of thoracic aorta and lung structures.
