Purpose: Psoriasis is a complex inflammatory skin disorder that is closely associated with metabolic syndrome (MetS). Limited information is available on skin metabolic changes in psoriasis; the effect of concurrent MetS on psoriatic skin metabolite levels is unknown. We aimed to expand this information through skin metabolomic analysis.

However, the underlying mechanisms and regulators remain unclear. Here, by performing allelic transcriptome analysis on human preimplantation embryos, we accurately quantified MZT progression by allelic ratio and identified a fraction of 8-cell embryos, at the appropriate developmental time point and exhibiting normal morphology, were in transcriptionally arrested status.

This study introduces CT-1, a derivative of cryptotanshinone that effectively suppresses TNBC growth while selectively reducing the proportion of N2-type TANs within tumor tissue. Notably, CT-1 induces simultaneous ferroptosis in both N2-type TANs and TNBC cells, a dual mechanism that enhances its therapeutic efficacy.

Owing to its differentiation-inducing effect, RA was the first differentiating agent approved for the clinical treatment of acute myeloid leukemia. While the classical mechanisms of RA signaling involve nuclear receptors, such as retinoic acid receptors (RARs), emerging evidence suggests that RA also engages in non-covalent and covalent interactions with a broader range of proteins.

In certain people, the number of red blood cells continues to grow, resulting in high altitude polycythemia (HAPC) which is characterized by headache, disorientation, sleeplessness, and bone discomfort. HAPC is often associated with multiple complications, of which lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans (LEASO) is rare.
