Objective: This study investigates the incidence and causes of diagnostic changes from primary open angle glaucoma suspect (POAGS) to primary open angle glaucoma (POAG), and vice versa, in clinical practice.
Design: This is a retrospective, single site, case-control study.
Participants: It includes patients over age 40 diagnosed with either POAG or POAGS between 2013-2020.
Globally, abuse of older people (AOP) affects one in six individuals aged 60 years and older every year. Despite the widespread prevalence of AOP, evidence-based interventions for preventing and responding to this issue are insufficient. To address this gap, WHO proposed an initiative to accelerate the development of effective interventions for AOP across all country income levels.

The previously unreported neomanoalide derivatives show distinct features in their 6,7-double bond geometry (4 and 9) or terpenoid moieties (5-8, 11, and 12) compared to the reported ones, as elucidated using NMR spectroscopy and HRMS analysis. Among these derivatives, compounds 11 and 12 contain terpenoid moieties that are rarely found in marine natural products.

Services are collaboratively redesigned such that students are positioned as collaborators in service delivery with their learning supported through evidence-informed educational design. This model was implemented in the hospital setting and was found to promote positive patient outcomes.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFLi-Fraumeni syndrome (LFS) is a hereditary disorder characterized by an increased risk of developing multiple early-onset cancers, primarily due to germline mutations. Women and men with this mutation face lifetime cancer risks of 90% and 70%, respectively. This report describes the first documented case of LFS with clinical information in Vietnam involving a 9-year-old child diagnosed with osteosarcoma who had multiple first- and second-degree relatives with cancer.
