The fuel system serves as the core component of marine diesel engines, and timely and effective fault diagnosis is the prerequisite for the safe navigation of ships. To address the challenge of current data-driven fault-diagnosis-based methods, which have difficulty in feature extraction and low accuracy under small samples, this paper proposes a fault diagnosis method based on digital twin (DT), Siamese Vision Transformer (SViT), and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). Firstly, a diesel engine DT model is constructed by integrating the mathematical, mechanism, and three-dimensional physical models of the Medium-speed diesel engines of 6L21/31 Marine, completing the mapping from physical entity to virtual entity.

Background: Major depressive disorder (MDD) and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) are two of the leading causes of impairment to human mental health. These two psychiatric disorders overlap in many symptoms and neurobiological features thus difficult to distinguish in some cases.

Methods: We enrolled 102 participants, comprising 40 patients with MDD, 32 patients with GAD and 30 matched healthy controls (HCs), to undergo multimodal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans.

Three-dimensional(3D) cell culture systems provide a larger space for cell proliferation, which is crucial for simulating cellular behavior and drug responses in the tumor microenvironment. In this study, we developed a novel 3D co-culture system for cell interactions, utilizing a commercialized bioreactor-microcarrier system. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) were extracted via enzymatic digestion, and markers CD105 and CD31 were identified.

Introduction: Cancer cachexia (CC) is characterized by weight loss with specifically reduced skeletal muscles and adipose tissues in patients with late-stage cancer. Dihydroartemisinin (DHA), an effective antimalarial derivative of artemisinin, has been demonstrated to have anti-inflammatory and antitumor properties.

Materials And Methods: This study examined the effects of DHA on the Lewis lung carcinoma (LLC)-induced CC mouse model.

Background: Paternal preconception alcohol exposure affects fetal development; however, it is largely unknown about the influences on offspring vasculature and mechanisms.

Methods: Offspring born form paternal rats treated with alcohol or water before pregnant was raised until 3 months of age. Vessel tone of mesenteric arteries was detected using myograph system; whole-cell calcium channel current in smooth muscle cells was tested using patch-clamp; molecule expressions were detected with real-time PCR, western blotting, and Dihydroethidium (DHE); DNA methylations were determined using targeted bisulfate sequencing assay.
