Tears of the retinal pigment epithelium is less common complication of RPE ablation. There is a discussion about the pathogenesis and the reasons of the disease's origin. The presence of drusen reflects congenital changes of Bruch's membrane with a tendency to rise the RPE tears after the former detachment.

Author observed two patients affected by Pseudoxanthoma elasticum with different extent of alternation on the eye background. The separate states of progression of this eye disease are observed by fluorescein angiography. Beside the finding of angioid streaks fluorescein angiography more precisely demonstrates extent of Bruch membrane abnormalities and alteration of pigmentary epithelium of the retina.

The authors present an account of a family with an autosomal dominant infantile atrophy of the optic nerve. In three generations two men and three women were affected. With the clinical picture of simple atrophy of the optic nerve with a different degree of expressivity corresponded functional and fluoroangiographic changes.
