Background: Natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) is currently a very important topic for both gastroenterologists and surgeons. We have developed a technique of transvaginal hybrid NOTES cholecystectomy (TVC) that leaves no visible scar and is applicable to daily use.
