Resonant enhancement of the transversal Kerr effect in the InMnAs layers.

Spectral dependences of the transversal Kerr effect (TKE) as well as of the real and imaginary parts of the permittivity of InMnAs layers were studied. Pulsed laser ablation of Mn and InAs targets was used to form the layers on GaAs(100) substrates. Spectra of the optical constants and TKE depended substantially on layer fabrication conditions and testified to the presence of MnAs inclusions in the samples.

Iodine content in breast milk depends on the consumption level of iodine. Iodine deficiency in mothers results in inadequate iodine status of neonates. Premature birth effect on iodine excretion with urine and iodine content in breast milk was investigated.

[Psychoautonomic disorders in patients with neurocirculatory dystonia and the mitral valve prolapse syndrome].

Pattern was studied of autonomic regulation of cardiac activity in young male adults with mitral valve prolapse (MVP) versus patients with cardiac type of neurocirculatory dystonia (NCD). In assessing the condition of the autonomic nervous system we employed statistical analysis of heart rate at rest (vegetative tone) and at minute 60 of the intake of propranolol (vegetative reactivity).
