"It's a struggle": a qualitative investigation of relations between cancer-related fatigue and work outcomes.

Purpose: Cancer-related fatigue (CRF) has been associated with various adverse work outcomes in quantitative research. However, there is limited understanding regarding how and why these outcomes arise for survivors experiencing fatigue. In response, this qualitative study explores survivors' narrative accounts to understand relations between CRF and work outcomes.

Educational design insights for interprofessional immersive simulation to prepare allied health students for clinical placements.

Background: Positive outcomes of simulation programmes to prepare students for placement are widely noted. However, few studies adequately describe considerations for designing allied health placement simulations. There exists a conceptual framework to guide such simulation design, which draws on theory and educational expertise but to date lacks varied stakeholder perspectives.

Systematic review and narrative description of the outcomes of group preoperative education before elective major surgery.

Background: Group preoperative education is becoming standard care for patients preparing for surgery, alongside optimisation of exercise, diet, and wellbeing. Although patient education is essential, the effectiveness of group education programmes or 'surgery schools' as a means of delivery is unclear. This review examines whether attending group preoperative education improves patient outcomes.

The Impact of Occupational Therapy on the Self-Management of Rheumatoid Arthritis: A Mixed Methods Systematic Review.

Objective: To determine the impact of occupational therapy (OT) on the self-management of function, pain, fatigue, and lived experience for people living with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Methods: Five databases and gray literature were searched up to June 30, 2022. Three reviewers screened titles and abstracts, with two independently extracting and assessing full texts using the Cochrane risk of bias (quantitative) and Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (qualitative) tools to assess study quality.
