Measuring protein turnover is essential for understanding cellular biological processes and advancing drug discovery. The multiplex DIA mass spectrometry (DIA-MS) approach, combined with dynamic SILAC labeling (pulse-SILAC, or pSILAC), has proven to be a reliable method for analyzing protein turnover and degradation kinetics. Previous multiplex DIA-MS workflows have employed various strategies, including leveraging the highest isotopic labeling channels of peptides to enhance the detection of isotopic MS signal pairs or clusters.

Aim: To investigate out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) trend, provided advanced life support (ALS) measures, automated external defibrillator (AEDs) utilization and bystanders' involvement in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) during OHCA incidents.

Methods: This cross-sectional study encompassed data pertaining to all OHCA incidents attended to by the Emergency Medical Service of Canton Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, covering the period from January 2018 to December 2022.

Results: Among a total of 1131 OHCA events, 236 (20.

The release of ChatGPT and related tools have made generative artificial intelligence (AI) easily accessible for the broader public. We conducted four preregistered experimental studies (total N = 3308; participants from the US) to investigate people's perceptions of generative AI and the advice it generates on how to address societal and personal challenges. The results indicate that when individuals are (vs.

Misexpression of the E3 ubiquitin ligase gene UBE3A is thought to contribute to a range of neurological disorders. In the context of Dup15q syndrome, additional genomic copies of UBE3A give rise to the autism, muscle hypotonia and spontaneous seizures characteristics of the disorder. In a Drosophila model of Dup 15q syndrome, it was recently shown that glial-driven expression of the UBE3A ortholog dube3a led to a "bang-sensitive" phenotype, where mechanical shock triggers convulsions, suggesting glial dube3a expression contributes to hyperexcitability in flies.
