Article Synopsis
  • - Understanding the decay properties of the Hoyle state in carbon nuclei is crucial for calculating how much carbon is produced in red-giant stars.
  • - This paper presents a new, nearly background-free method to measure the decay ratio of the Hoyle state, utilizing advanced techniques for detecting charged particles.
  • - The study introduces a bidimensional map to improve measurement accuracy, providing a significant value for the radiative branching ratio and addressing discrepancies from recent research findings.

Neurotrophins (NTs), which are crucial for the functioning of the nervous system, are also known to regulate vascularization. Graphene-based materials may drive neural growth and differentiation, and, thus, have great potential in regenerative medicine. In this work, we scrutinized the nano-biointerface between the cell membrane and hybrids made of neurotrophin-mimicking peptides and graphene oxide (GO) assemblies (pep-GO), to exploit their potential in theranostics (i.
