Introduction: Job satisfaction and intention to leave have been consistently linked to the working environment. However, there are few studies of interventions for improving the environment or staff outcomes.

Aim: To determine the impact of implementing a framework for safe nurse staffing on the environment and staff outcomes.

The liquid-phase exfoliation process has been successfully applied to nonlayered materials to produce quasi-2D nanoplatelets. A slight variation in bonding anisotropy in the starting material can result in the formation of 2D platelet-shaped particles with a relatively low aspect ratio. This advancement offers a promising strategy to create 2D materials from previously unexplored materials.

Background: Exercise optimizes peak bone mass accrual, particularly if the loading is high magnitude and distributed in abnormal directions. Little is known about the influence of early intense training in sport during peak bone mass accrual, especially in boys.

Methods: Ninety-eight males aged 6-24 years (gymnasts, swimmers, and controls) completed the bone-specific physical activity questionnaire and a 7-day exercise diary.

The combination of 0D nanoparticles with 2D nanomaterials has attracted a lot of attention over the last years due to the unique multimodal properties of resulting 0D-2D nanocomposites. In this work, we developed boron nitride nanosheets (BNNS) functionalized with manganese ferrite magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs). The functionalization process involved attachment of MNPs to exfoliated BNNS by refluxing the precursor materials in a polyol medium.
