The presence of at least one additional copy of the maternal 15q11-q13 results in a syndrome (maternal dup15q) characterized by intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, mood disorders, and epilepsy. Catatonia is a serious syndrome of behavioral and motor dysfunction, which occurs across a variety of psychiatric, neurologic, and general medical conditions, which has successfully been treated with benzodiazepines and electroconvulsive therapy.

Background: Sexual minority youth are at more than twice the risk of experiencing homelessness than their peers and both sexual minority youth and youth experiencing homelessness have disproportionate risk for mental health disorder symptoms. Couch-surfing is a common form of homelessness experienced by youth, but research on the relationship between couch-surfing and mental health outcomes, especially among sexual minority adolescents (SMA), is limited.

Despite significant progress in developing CF transmembrane conductance regulator-specific treatments for CF lung disease, exploring alternative CF-targeted medications seems reasonable. We sought to evaluate the potential beneficial effects of oral benzbromarone as an adjuvant therapy in CF patients with reduced lung function.
