Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the chemical solubility (CS) and conduct a comprehensive physicochemical characterization of several experimental and commercial lithium silicate-based glass-ceramics towards an understanding of the chemical processes governing dissolution in these glass-ceramics.

Methodology: Glass-ceramic (GC) samples were categorized into two groups: experimental materials featuring lithium metasilicate crystals (GCE1 and GCE2); and five commercial brands relying mostly on lithium disilicate (Celtra®Duo, IPS e.max®CAD, Straumann®n!ce®, CEREC Tessera™, and VITA Suprinity®).

This article analyzes the sociodemographic composition of the Indigenous population in Brazil in the 1991, 2000, and 2010 demographic censuses, in addition to investigating inequalities in access to basic sanitation and electricity based on the 2010 Census. A methodology is proposed that classifies households with Indigenous residents as "homogeneous", "mixed" with an Indigenous in the category "household head", and mixed with a non-Indigenous in the category "household head". Regional and situational differences overlapped with differences by type of household and location, with better conditions in urban than rural areas and in the Southeast and South.

Objective: To verify the level of knowledge of Brazilian pediatricians about anaphylaxis, identifying sociodemographic and educational characteristics of the professional which contribute to the adequate management of this clinical disorder.

Methods: A survey was carried out on the management of anaphylaxis using a questionnaire prepared and distributed by email to pediatricians in different states in Brazil. The level of knowledge about anaphylaxis was classified as: satisfactory; unsatisfactory; more than satisfactory; ideal, according to evaluation criteria adopted for the statements of clinical cases that addressed the drug of choice, route of administration, positioning of the patient with anaphylaxis and recognition of the clinical case with differential diagnosis.

This study aimed to estimate the morbidity associated with toothache treated in the primary health care (PHC) setting, stratified by the population size of Brazilian municipalities, from 2018 to 2022. This longitudinal ecological study was based on public national data from routine public dental service utilization records within the Health Information System for Primary Care. These data were employed to compute the rate of dental appointments for users with toothache (per 1,000 users) within each municipality throughout 15 four-month periods (P1-2018 to P3-2022), classified by population size.
