The development of COVID-19 vaccines has been an important step in the fight against the pandemic. However, it is still necessary to understand the influence of factors that can alter the immune response. In general, doses need to be updated frequently, and care must be taken to control the virus that is still circulating worldwide.

This study compared postoperative outcomes of partial cystectomy (PC) and total cystectomy (TC) in patients with locally advanced colorectal cancer.
Methods: A systematic review was conducted in PubMed, Scopus, Central Register of Clinical Trials, and Web of Science for studies published up to November 2024.

Background: Temporomandibular disorder (TMD) is the main chronic pain that affects the face, and it is associated with dietary changes due to pain and dysfunction. However, there is a scarcity of studies on its impact on nutrition and vice versa.
Objectives: To assess and compare the intake of energy and nutrients among chronic TMD myalgia and asymptomatic women and to evaluate data according to dietary reference intakes (DRI) and the World Health Organization (WHO) values.
Intravenous iron is commonly used to treat anemia related to chronic illnesses, but venous extravasation, an uncommon side effect of intravenous iron, can result in persistent skin discoloration. This report presents the case of a female patient who experienced venous extravasation following intravenous iron administration, with data collected from her patient record. Although venous extravasation is a rare adverse effect, it is important for both patients and healthcare providers to recognize this potential complication.
