The work presents the results of the research capabilities of the use of iodized milk protein as a component of food supplement and enriched food product for the correction of iodine sufficiency in girls. Milk iodinated protein was produced by the enzyme-effective iodization of amino acid residues of cow's milk whey proteins. The study involved 30 girls, whose average age was 19.

Ultrasound examination of the hepatobiliary system was carried out in 102 children (3-12 years) with viral hepatitis A and B on the 57-75 days of the disease. Increased liver size and swelling of the parenchyma was revealed in 100% of patients. Thickening of the gallbladder walls was similarly frequent in A and B hepatitis.

Dynamics of genetic load in aboriginal population of the Turkmen SSR was studied using two approaches to calculate "lethal" equivalents. Intensity and structure of natural selection were measured using the Crow's index and its components. All statistics indicated were determined using the data obtained in Ashkhabad city and in two rural populations of Ashkhabad region (Yasman and Nokhur) within the time interval prior to 60s and after 70s.
