  • Out of 89 French Bulldogs with HCF, 36 were found to have HIF, and surgical repair was performed on all; 20 of these received a prophylactic screw, although some experienced complications.
  • The long-term outcomes showed that most owners rated their dogs' recovery as excellent or good, highlighting the importance of considering HIF when treating HCF in this breed.

Objective: To develop a consumer and community involvement (CCI) strategy for the Women's Health Research, Translation and Impact Network (WHRTN), an initiative of the Australian Health Research Alliance (AHRA).

Type Of Program: A national network, comprising representatives from 14 nationally-accredited research translation centres that aims to embed CCI at a systems level, to improve equity and health outcomes across women's health.

Methods: A CCI Sub-Committee of WHRTN was established, chaired by a Consumer Advisor/Advocate.

This paper offers a nuanced perspective of two families' lockdown literacy journeys with their young children during the COVID 19 pandemic. We present informal home learning examples stimulated by play and by school-sanctioned synchronous and asynchronous activities from homes geographically miles apart yet close in terms of shared experience. In response to the catch-up and learning loss narrative which threatens to overshadow some of the positive learning experiences taking place at home, we redirect the 'catch-up' narrative towards a nuanced understanding of family learning at home by articulating the complexity of circumstance.

This prospective meta-analysis (PMA) proposes to assess whether the addition of a comprehensive multicomponent birth preparation programme reduces caesarean section (CS) in nulliparous women compared with standard hospital care.
