The paper presents a clinical case of MPA in a 67-year-old woman following COVID-19, characterized by significant difficulties when working with the early etiological verification of diagnosis. The patient presented with polyarthritis affecting the upper and lower limbs, fever, and comorbid urological pathology in the form of urolithiasis and recurrent cystitis. This clinical presentation, hyperuricemia, azotaemia and anemia were mistakenly interpreted as chronic kidney disease: gouty nephropathy, gouty arthritis, which masked the underlying disease for a long time delaying the timely MPA diagnosis and treatment.

It has been observed that Pde6b mice (rd1), which carry a spontaneous nonsense mutation in the gene, have a strong phenotypic similarity to patients suffering from autosomal recessive retinitis pigmentosa. In this study, we present a novel mouse model of retinitis pigmentosa generated through gene knockout using CRISPR/Cas9 technology.

Nanocomposite materials were obtained in acidic or alkaline media using oxidative polymerization of diphenylamine-2-carboxylic acid (DPAC) in the presence of activated IR-pyrolyzed polyacrylonitrile (IR-PAN-a) only or IR-PAN-a and single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT). Hybrid electrodes are electroactive layers of stable suspensions of IR-PAN-a/PDPAC and IR-PAN-a/SWCNT/PDPAC nanocomposites in formic acid (FA) formed on the flexible strips of anodized graphite foil (AGF).

Two methods of obtaining RGO/P-N-PAA composites were suggested. Hybrid materials were synthesized via in situ oxidative polymerization of N-phenylanthranilic acid (N-PAA) in the presence of graphene oxide (GO) (RGO/P-N-PAA-1), as well as from a P-N-PAA solution in DMF containing GO (RGO/P-N-PAA-2).

The article presents a difficult-to-diagnose clinical case of progressive growth of two intrapericardial dermoid cysts in a 42-year-old man, diagnosed only 6 months after acute transdermal poisoning with lithium salts (Litol 24), which the patient, on his own initiative, used locally for the treatment of existing psoriasis. The peculiarity of this clinical case lies in the fact that, due to the extremely rare occurrence of intrapericardial dermoid cysts, their presence was perceived by doctors as hydropericardium. Therefore, untimely diagnosis of the cause of compression syndrome created a threat of tamponade of the patient's heart.
