Factors in the implementation of expert standards in nursing: A qualitative study Many German health and long-term care facilities face the challenge of implementing expert standards in practice. Implementation models, such as the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR), support the implementation process by identifying the relevant influencing factors that can determine the success of an implementation. Challenges recruiting and retaining people at risk for HIV who use methamphetamine in a randomized PrEP adherence trial in Seattle, WA.

Background: Methamphetamine is associated with increased HIV risk and suboptimal adherence to pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). Interventions to support PrEP adherence for people who use methamphetamine are needed.

Methods: We evaluated peer navigation to support adherence among people initiating PrEP who use methamphetamine.

This study observed the effects of oxygen supplementation, via an oxygen concentrator, on peripheral arterial blood oxygenation (SpO2) measured by pulse oximetry in anaesthetised cats undergoing spay in three different surgical positions. A total of 192 female feral cats were investigated for a large-scale trap-neuter-release program. Cats were anaesthetised with an intramuscular combination of butorphanol (0,4 mg / kg), ketamine (7-10 mg / kg) and medetomidine (0,03-0,05 mg / kg).

Positive Emotions Training (PoET) as an online intervention to improve mental health: a feasibility study.

Background: Positive psychology interventions are known to have an impact on mental health as well as on a number of beneficial characteristics like optimism, gratitude and self-efficacy. The Positive Emotions Training (PoET) is one of the first holistic training programs covering eleven positive psychology constructs. The goal of this study was to test PoET's feasibility in the general population and to assess possible effects on positive and negative mental health factors.

Evaluation of cardiovascular effects of intramuscular medetomidine and a medetomidine-vatinoxan combination in Beagle dogs: A randomized blinded crossover laboratory study.

Objective: To compare the cardiovascular effects of a combination of medetomidine and vatinoxan (MVX) versus medetomidine (MED) alone administered intramuscularly (IM) and to determine whether heart rate (HR) can be used as a surrogate for cardiac output (CO) after the use of medetomidine with or without vatinoxan.

Study Design: A randomized, blinded, experimental, crossover study.

Animals: A group of eight healthy Beagle dogs aged 4.
