Bioequivalence of Reference and Biosimilar Preparations of Premixed Biphasic Insulin Aspart: A Comparative Clamp Study.

Biphasic insulin aspart 30 is a premixed formulation containing a soluble fraction of insulin aspart (30%) and a protamine-crystallized fraction (70%) that was developed to combine the rapid-acting and prolonged advantages of commercially available insulins. The aim of this bioequivalence study was to compare the pharmacokinetics (PKs) of GP-bi-asp and Novo-bi-asp, and evaluate the pharmacodynamic (PD) properties as well as the safety of these drugs in the hyperinsulinemic euglycemic clamp (HEC) procedure. This was a phase 1, randomized, double-blind, 2-sequence, 2-period crossover study.

[Clinical and epidemiological peculiarities of multiple sclerosis in patients with different level of essential and toxic chemicals in blood serum].

Multiple sclerosis as it seen presently is a disease determined by the interaction of genetic and environmental factors. Risk factors are some chronic infections and living in ecological hazard areas. In this aspect, the authors review a role of metals which remains unclear so far.

[Adhesive properties of microorganisms colonizing rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus patients].

Aim: Evaluation of adhesive properties of microorganisms colonizing rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus patients.

Materials And Methods: Nose mucosa and urinal microflora from 62 rheumatoid patients (32--rheumatoid arthritis and 30--systemic lupus erythematosus patients) was studied. 57 opportunistic microorganisms were isolated: including representatives of Staphylococcus, Escherichia, Klebsiella, Morganella, Enterobactergenera.

[Influence of immunodepressors on population level and adhesive characteristics of opportunistic bacteria in large intestine of white mice].

Aim: To assess the effects of cyclophosphamide (CP), methotrexate (MT), and prednisolone (PS) on the levels of staphylococci, enterococci, Escherichia coli (EC) and lactose-negative enterobacteria (LNEB) in feces of white mice as well as to determine adhesive properties of isolated microorganisms.

[Interrelation between corticotropin and cortisol during static physical loading].

The time-course of changes in the blood corticotropin and cortisol concentration was studied in 9 dogs during standing with a load on the back. The pituitary-adrenocortical system was shown to be activated fairly rapidly. The initially occurring rise in corticotropin concentration was coupled with a more prolonged elevation of blood cortisol.
