[Multidisciplinary and multiprofessional care to multimorbid chronic patients with cardiovascular disease: the experience of the Azienda Sanitaria Universitaria Giuliano Isontina].

The world of chronic non-communicable diseases is progressively growing epidemiologically, requiring a significant commitment of resources, continuity of care, and strong integration between healthcare professionals and care settings. The National Recovery and Resilience Plan, in the Ministerial Decree 77 of 23/5/2022, identifies Community Homes as the privileged location for providing integrated, multidisciplinary and multiprofessional interventions, involving specialists and nursing clinics, general practitioners and district structures, utilizing all the necessary technological equipment, including digital platforms for telemedicine. In this context, cardiology is facing a complicated challenge: cardiologists must take care of patients with cardiovascular diseases who have also complex comorbidities and are required to extend their knowledge beyond the specific, sometimes super-specialistic, cardiovascular field, to avoid fragmentation, redundancy, and potential conflicts in the diagnostic-therapeutic care pathways.

Objective: Age-adjusted rates of new cervical cancer diagnoses in the United States have remained stable despite increasing availability of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccination. As it is well established that sociodemographic factors drive cervical cancer care inequity, we aimed to evaluate their impact on catch-up HPV vaccination rates in adults.

Introduction: The importance of knowing the impact of work on people's health has increased after the COVID-19 pandemic. Burn Out (BO) syndrome arises from the tension emerging from the conflictive interaction between the worker and his or her employment. The objective was to describe the prevalence and frequency of diagnosis of BO in the health human resources of critical services of the Bahía Blanca Municipal Hospital in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Occult residual ovarian tissue at the time of minimally invasive risk reducing surgery in women with BRCA mutations.

Objective: To describe extension of ovarian tissue beyond visible and National Comprehensive Cancer Network recommended margins among patients with BRCA mutations undergoing minimally invasive risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy.

Methods: A prospective study of patients with BRCA mutations who underwent minimally invasive risk-reducing bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy was conducted. Patient enrollment occurred between October 2021 and 2023.
