In the present investigation, redox-responsive-based dextran carriers were developed for the controlled release of hydrophobic molecules via a reducing agent naturally present in cells, namely glutathione. In this sense, dextran was modified with a thiol derivative. The roles of the hydrophilic segments in the molecular self-organisation of polysaccharide derivatives into nanoparticles were investigated by varying the average dextran molar mass.

Design: A multicentre qualitative descriptive study was undertaken from August 2022 to January 2023.
Methods: Interpretive description methodology was used.
Objectives: This Danish nationwide retrospective register-based cohort study investigated healthcare costs for patients with screen-detected colorectal cancer (SD-CRC) compared to non-screen-detected CRC (NSD-CRC).
Study Design: Nationwide cohort study.
Methods: Quarterly healthcare costs including costs of hospital care, out-of-hospital medication, and primary sector contacts were compared between the two groups from two years before diagnosis of CRC until two years after.
Aim: To provide detailed descriptions of the amount of daily physical activity (PA) performed by people with multimorbidity and investigate the association between the number of conditions, multimorbidity profiles, and PA.
Methods: All adults (≥18 years) from The Lolland-Falster Health Study, conducted from 2016 to 2020, who had PA measured with accelerometers and reported medical conditions were included (n=2,158). Sedentary behavior and daily PA at light, moderate, vigorous, and moderate to vigorous intensity and number of steps were measured with two accelerometers.
Introduction: Body temperature measurement is a fundamental requirement for clinical decisions in nursing care, medical diagnosis, and treatment. Therefore, it is pivotal that body temperature measurements are accurate and precise.
Aims: To test the diagnostic accuracy of an ear temperature screening procedure among adult hospitalized patients.
