Background: This chart review aimed to assess the COVID-19 vaccination status of pregnant patients prior to hospitalization for delivery and vaccine administration while hospitalized postpartum.

Methods: This was a retrospective chart review of pregnant patients admitted for delivery at WakeMed Hospital during a six-month period who were offered COVID-19 vaccination immediately following delivery. We analyzed demographic characteristics by vaccination status prior to admission, during hospitalization, and at discharge.

Context: The illicit drug supply is rapidly evolving. Equally important to gathering drug supply data for monitoring is timely sharing of information with people who use drugs, the providers who care for them, law enforcement partners, and public health stakeholders so that efforts to avoid harmful substances, take preventive actions, and better target interventions can occur.

Program: The Massachusetts Drug Supply Data Stream (MADDS) is the country's first statewide community drug checking program.

Background: We analyzed data from patients undergoing off-pump isolated coronary artery bypass grafting surgery (OPCABG) to determine if immediate extubation in the operating room affected the incidence of postoperative atrial fibrillation.

Methods: The study group comprised 2,376 consecutive OPCABG patients operated on between January 1, 2000, and December 31, 2004, by 22 surgeons at 18 hospitals. The data were subjected to univariate, multivariate analysis of variance, and logistic analysis.

Inadequate nasal tip projection is the most common problem of primary and secondary rhinoplasty. Inadequate nasal tip projection with inadequate septal support requires an umbrella graft. The umbrella graft consists of a vertical cartilaginous strut between the medial crura and a horizontal onlay graft overlying the alar domes.
