HURTLE CELLS IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL ACTIVITIES IN HASHIMOTO THYROIDITIS PARENCHYMA.

The present study was designed to evaluate the participation and utility of Hǘrtle cells morphological requirment and transformation under Hashimoto autoimmune thyroiditis versus Riedel´s struma. Several markers have been evaluated to detect induced activities of Hǘrtle cells. Study subject - specimens (tissue fragments) collected from TG surgery (thyroidectomy) for mollecular (receptor) diagnosis of Hǘrtle cells activities using routine histological and immunohistochemical samples.

Case of Takotsubo cardiomyopathy after tooth extraction - Unusual trigger of a rare syndrome.

We describe a case of Takotsubo cardiomyopathy in a 75-year-old woman after an elective extraction of 10 teeth of the lower jaw using bilateral mandibular anesthesia. The patient complained of shortness of breath and chest pain after 24 h. Coronary angiography showed smooth normal coronary arteries with thrombolysis in myocardial infarction III flow.

Experimental study of the new blood pump for the heart-lung bypass machine.

The functioning of the rolling pump in the system of artificial blood circulation is associated with a number of complications. For avoiding these complications, virtually new perfusion system is developed, in which the functions of a blood reservoir and a pump are united in hermetic cardiotomy reservoirs. The technical aspects of connecting this system to experimental animals are described.

[The function of thyroid gland during the course of pregnancy].

The influence of pregnancy on the function of thyroid gland on the one hand and the influence of dysfunction of this organ on duration of pregnancy on the other is a common and topical problem in medicine. For the study of this correlation, 77 pregnant women have been examined, 45 of which suffered from the thyroid gland dysfunction of different levels. According to the level of iodine excretion acute insufficiency has not been detected among the observed pregnant women; 7 (9%) of them had medium insufficiency and 14 (18%) suffered from moderate lack of iodine.
