Introduction: ISMiHealth is a clinical decision support system, integrated as a software tool in the electronic health record system of primary care, that aims to improve the screening performance on infectious diseases and female genital mutilation (FGM) in migrants. The aim of this study is to assess the health impact of the tool and to perform a process evaluation of its feasibility and acceptability when implemented in primary care in Catalonia (Spain).
Methods And Analysis: This study is a cluster randomised control trial where 35 primary care centres in Catalonia, Spain will be allocated into one of the two groups: intervention and control.
Background: The relative efficacy of information provision versus financial incentives in improving primary care quality remains a critical, unresolved question. We investigated these two strategies in Catalonia's public primary care system from 2010 to 2019: an innovative online platform providing real-time quality indicator information and targeted economic incentives for achieving indicator goals.
Methods: We conducted a comprehensive interrupted time series regression analysis on data from 272 primary care practices (5,628,080 patients).
Objective: To assess whether reporting the dosing frequency into the prescription module of the Institut Català de la Salut (ICS) primary care electronic clinical workstation improves the dosing frequency's adequacy of the prescriptions.
Design: Before and after study with non-equivalent control of prescriptions without any change in the dosing frequency. The study periods includes from September 1st, 2019 to February 29th, 2020.
Background: The incidence of chronic diseases during the COVID-19 pandemic has drastically been reduced worldwide due to disruptions in healthcare systems. The aim of our study is to analyse the trends in the incidence of 7 commonly managed primary care chronic diseases during the last 2 years of the COVID-19 pandemic in Catalonia.
Methods: We performed an observational retrospective population-based study using data from primary care electronic health records from January 2018 to August 2022 (5.
