[Peroperative detection of embolizing material in the heart. The importance of peroperative transesophageal echocardiography].

During operation, 102 patients were continually monitored for heart function using transoesophageal echocardiography. Echo-contrast particles (mostly of mi-minute echo-contrast particles were also monitored through the right and left hearts. The most frequent and significant evidence was found in the right heart in the left ventricle.
