Objective: to describe risk management implementation in the safety of patients with mental disorders through action research.
Method: an action research carried out with a multidisciplinary team from a reference hospital in mental health in Southeast Brazil.
Results: three strategies considered as managerial technologies for the mentally ill patient were developed: risk management diagram for patient safety; patient safety protocols; and textual proposal of software for internal management of incident notifications.
This was a socio-historical study that aimed to analyze the repercussions of the flexibilization of labor relationships within a University hospital (UH) using the thematic oral history method and triangulation of sources made up of workers' statements, institutional documents and relevant literature. It was observed that flexibilization, driven by state reform in the 1990s, had a structural impact on the trajectory of this institution, that, due to government downsizing policy, adopted outsourcing to maintain staff, leading to high staff turnover, various types of conflicts, and discontinuity and lack of organization of work processes. We conclude that the flexibilization of employment relationships became a handicap for this UH, disrupting services, negatively affecting students and service users, contributing to the deterioration of working conditions and lack of protection of workers.

Isovolumic systolic pressure (ISP), atrial and ventricular rates, and atrioventricular conduction (PR-interval) were studied in the hearts perfused with bicarbonate buffer Krebs solution, at 31 degrees C, under a constant pressure of 75 mmHg. Eight hearts were studied at a fixed rate (200 bpm) under control conditions and at different HgCl2 concentrations (0.

Al3+ decreased the development of isovolumic systolic pressure from 34.3 +/- 2.
