Background/objectives: Muscle-specific RING finger protein 1 (MuRF-1) is a pivotal regulator of muscle protein breakdown, an essential process for post-exercise muscle adaptation. This systematic review aimed to evaluate the effects of physical exercise on MuRF-1 expression in humans.

Methods: A literature search was conducted in PubMed, Scopus, Cochrane Library, Google Scholar, and Web of Science following the PRISMA guidelines.

Purpose: To evaluate the molecular evolution of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress during colorectal cancer carcinogenesis.

Methods: Fifty-six hairless mice were divided into two groups: control (no intervention); and carcinogenesis (treated with two doses of azoxymethane at 10 mg/kg during the third and the fourth week and dextran sodium sulfate at 2.5% for seven days in the second, fifth, and eighth week).

In mobile robotics, LASER scanners have a wide spectrum of indoor and outdoor applications, both in structured and unstructured environments, due to their accuracy and precision. Most works that use this sensor have their own data representation and their own case-specific modeling strategies, and no common formalism is adopted. To address this issue, this manuscript presents an analytical approach for the identification and localization of objects using 2D LiDARs.

Background: Evidence regarding the outcomes benefits of robotic approach, when compared to a laparoscopic approach, in colectomy remain limited.

Objective: This study aimed to analyze the value of robotic approach compared to laparoscopic approach in minimally invasive colectomy.

Design: Cohort study of the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP).

Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess the effects of resistance and aerobic exercise on colorectal cancer (CRC) development in mice induced by azoxymethane (AOM) coupled with colitis.

Methods: Forty animals induced with CRC were used, divided into five groups of eight animals each: sedentary; continuous aerobics; continuous anaerobic; aerobic PI; and anaerobic PI. AOM was administered to the animals in two doses of 10 mg/kg each over the course of two weeks, the first dose administered in the third week and the second administered in the fourth.
