Purification and crystallization of a novel membrane-anchored protein: the Schistosoma haematobium serpin.

A unique serine-protease inhibitor (serpin) of the blood fluke S. haematobium has been crystallized. It is an antitrypsin with an unusual residue (phenylalanine) at its reactive center.
