Background: This study aimed to evaluate the impact of oral hygiene (OH) with chlorhexidine (CHX) on the evolution of nosocomial infections (NI).

Material And Methods: Electronic searches were carried out in PubMed, Scopus, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, VHL, and Grey Literature databases. Randomized clinical trials were included.

Metabolic dysfunction-associated liver disease and biliary lithiasis in children with Down Syndrome: a retrospective study.

Objective: To investigate the presence of metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) and gallbladder abnormalities in a sample of people with Down syndrome in Brazil.

Methods: This is a retrospective study using medical charts involving Down syndrome patients, diagnosed by karyotype, aged over 5 years, who underwent abdominal ultrasound and were monitored by the same professional in a clinic in Curitiba, Brazil. Data spanned January 1995 to September 2023; all cases with no use of alcohol or hepatotoxic medications.

Morbidity and factors associated with frailty in post-COVID-19 elderly patients attended at a reference center.

Objective: To assess the morbidity profile and identify factors associated with frailty syndrome in post-COVID-19 elderly patients treated at the only Reference Center for Elderly Health Care in northern Minas Gerais.

Methods: This is a case series study, utilizing the Clinical-Functional Vulnerability Index-20 (CFVI-20) and Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) to characterize and evaluate the health condition of the group. To define the variables associated with frailty, a multivariate analysis was conducted.

Objective: To assess the influence of conservative or invasive treatments on the appearance of sequelae in permanent successor teeth (SPT) after injuries in the support tissues of anterior deciduous teeth (ISTDT).

Methods: This cohort study accompanied 52 children with ISTDT up to the complete eruption of the permanent successor to investigate the presence or not of SPT. Trauma was clinically evaluated according to the International Association for Dental Traumatology.

Death Anxiety Among Users and Non-Users of Psychedelics.

This study is a survey-type, cross-sectional study conducted in Brazil ( = 517), with online data collection taking place from April to June 2022. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the death anxiety in users and non-users of psychedelics. To this end, we also assessed the validity and reliability of the Death Anxiety Scale in Brazil.
