We present the design of a VMI spectrometer optimized for attosecond spectroscopy in the 0-40 eV energy range. It is based on a compact three-electrode configuration where the lens shape, size, and material have been optimized using numerical simulations to improve the spectral resolution by a factor of ∼5 relative to the initial design [Eppink and Parker, Rev. Sci.

Here, we achieve full decoding of the intricate angle-dependent dynamics of a photoemission process in helium, spectrally and anisotropically structured by two-photon transitions through intermediate bound states. Using spectrally and angularly resolved attosecond electron interferometry, we characterize the complex-valued transition probability amplitude toward the photoelectron quantum state.

To date, little is known about the impact of referral source on its management. To assess changes to pain medication profile in the course of SHPC and to identify potential differences in relation to referral source.

Objective: Type 2 diabetes mellitus, which afflicts 15 million Americans, is associated with accelerated cervical carotid artery atherosclerosis and a heightened risk of stroke. This study attempted to determine the prevalence of calcified atherosclerotic lesions in a group of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Study Design: The panoramic radiographs of 49 men (age range, 55 to 81; mean age, 66.
One hundred twenty-three male veterans were randomly assigned to control, education, and psychological groups to improve oral hygiene behavior. The educational group received four 40-min sessions designed to increase knowledge of the causes and prevention of dental disease. The psychological intervention also consisted of four 40-min sessions.
