High-risk HPV (hrHPV)-based screening has led to many unnecessary colposcopy referrals, mainly because of direct referral after low-grade cytology (ASC-US/LSIL). DNA methylation and genotyping tests on ASC-US/LSIL samples have the potential to significantly improve the efficiency of screening. In this study, 12 triage strategies were constructed from FAM19A4/miR124-2 or ASCL1/LHX8 methylation, HPV16/18 or HPV16/18/31/33/45 genotyping and 1-year repeat cytology.

Objectives: To investigate the support needs of patients with gout regarding information, communication, treatment and disease monitoring, and patients' views on and preferences for eHealth applications to address these needs.

Methods: A focus group study using purposive sampling was conducted. Three focus group sessions with a duration of 2 h per group were held with in total of 23 patients using urate-lowering therapy, recruited from primary and secondary care.

The COVID-19 pandemic impacted the transmission of many pathogens. The aim was to determine the effect of non-pharmaceutical interventions on the incidence of diseases transmitted via food. Weekly incidence rates for nine foodborne pathogens were collected from national surveillance registries.
