Background: The CAMDEX-DS is an instrument to diagnose Alzheimer's disease (AD) in Down syndrome consisting of an informant interview and a cognitive test battery (CAMCOG-DS). Measurement properties of the German CAMDEX-DS were investigated.
Method: Fifty-five adults with Down syndrome (19-58 years) participated in this observational study.
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are found in a variety of places including cosmetics, rain jackets, dust, and water. PFAS have also been applied to occupational gear to protect against water and oils. However, PFAS have been identified as immunosuppressants and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), a specific PFAS, has been identified as carcinogenic.

We hypothesized that the portal vein catheterization would be a successful continuous sampling technique with minimal adverse effects in steers.
Methods: 2 groups of steers were used: a pilot group (n = 2) and experimental group (n = 6).

The National Association of School Nurses (NASN) released School Nursing Evidence-Based Clinical Practice Guideline: Students with Allergies and Risk for Anaphylaxis, in 2023, to provide evidence-based recommendations specific to school nursing practice and support the role of the school nurse in providing high-quality care for school-age children with allergies and risk for anaphylaxis.
