Adaptive evaluation of gross total resection rates for endoscopic endonasal approach based on preoperative MRI morphological features of pituitary adenomas.

Objective: This study aims to define a set of related anatomical landmarks based on preoperative Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of patients with pituitary adenomas (PAs). It explores the impact of the dynamic relationships between different anatomical landmarks and the tumor on the resection rate and tumor progression/recurrence during the endoscopic endonasal approach (EEA).

Methods: A single-center institutional database review was conducted, identifying patients with PAs treated with EEA from December 2018 to January 2023.

Ferroelectric films are highly sought-after in micro-electro-mechanical systems, particularly with the trend towards miniaturization. However, their tendency to depolarize and degradation in piezoelectric properties when exposed to packaging procedures at temperatures exceeding 260 °C remains a significant challenge. Here, we reveal the prerequisites for self-poling and leverage these insights to achieve unprecedented macroscopic performance through a two-step approach involving texture construction and hierarchical heterogeneity engineering.

Background: Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis/mycosis (ABPA/M) is a complex non-infectious pulmonary benign disease characterized by an immune response against aspergillus/fungus. Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), typically recognized as a tumor marker, also elevated in certain benign diseases. Few studies on ABPA/M cases presenting with elevated serum CEA levels have been reported.
