Experience of using genetically engineered biological drugs in children with a systemic form of JIA in the Karaganda region.

Despite all the achievements of science and medicine, juvenile idiopathic arthritis today remains one of the main childhood diseases that lead to severe irreversible consequences. This, in turn, makes it urgent to search for effective drugs for the treatment of juvenile idiopathic arthritis, of which interleukin 1 (anakinra) and interleukin 6 (tocilizumab) inhibitors are becoming increasingly popular. AIM: to analyse the efficacy of genetically engineered biological drugs, namely anakinra and tocilizumab in children with systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis among patients of the Karaganda region.

[Medical and biologic monitoring of Aral region population health].

The article covers data on health state in dwellers of Shiely settlement in Kyzylorda region, evaluation of therapeutic morbidity by organ systems among the examined population. Findings are that 92% of the examinees are assigned to a morbid group, according to medical and biologic studies. As per nosology classes: first place was occupied by urogenital diseases, second place--by digestive diseases, third place--by blood and hemogenesis disorders.

[Adaptative resources of the main regulatory systems in patients with hypertension under the highland conditions].

[System analysis of heart rate variability, hemodynamics and bioelectrical activity of the human brain at moderate altitudes].

Heart rate variability (HRV), hemodynamics, cerebral alpha-rhythm and systemic relations between them were investigated in 35 normal human subjects at the age of 37.2 +/- 3.8 years.

[Characteristics of endothelium hemodynamics and functional condition of hypertensive patients in high mountains].

Hemodynamics, geometry of the left myocardium ventricle (LV), blood nitrogen oxide and their interdependence were studied in hypertensive (n = 90) and normal mountain dwellers (n = 40) at the age of 37 to 72 years. The patients underwent general clinical and outpatient examination, electro- and echocardiography. The hypertensive patients were diagnosed for disorders in endothelium functioning, intracardiac hemodynamics, and LV geometry.
