Background: Adults with FASD are at increased risk for contact with the criminal justice system (CJS). To date, there has been limited research devoted to development of supports for adults with FASD and it is unclear what supports are required to improve outcomes and reduce CJS contact.
Objectives: To examine the services and supports experienced by a small group of adults with FASD living in both rural and urban locations in Ontario, and their contact with the CJS.
Uni-lateral muscle soreness is common yet the effects on gait or electromyographic (EMG) activity are unknown. The purpose of our study was to induce delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) in the knee flexor group and measure the resultant change in EMG activity and knee motion during gait. However, thrombosis is a serious complication of this success and results in mortality and morbidity. Prevention or treatment of thrombosis using warfarin is challenging in children due to its narrow therapeutic index and the unique differences in children, including variable nutritional intake and the occurrence of common concomitant viral or bacterial illnesses which alter warfarin metabolism.

A ventricular pacemaker was implanted in each child, and both have subsequently remained free of syncope, although they continue to exhibit breath-holding behaviour.
