Objectives: To compare the values of ultrasound and clinical parameters for predicting outcomes of induction of labor (IOL) among healthy nulliparous women with a singleton, term cephalic pregnancy.
Methods: The cervical length, cervical strain elastography, posterior cervical angle, head-perineum distance, Bishop score, and maternal parameters were assessed before IOL with a combined method-Foley catheter and Misoprostol perorally. The main outcome was vaginal delivery.

Several investigations have examined the risk of total knee arthroplasty (TKA) following tibial plateau fracture treatment, but the risk of TKA in relation to the general population in Sweden has not previously been explored.
Aim: To determine the incidence of TKA following surgical treatment of tibial plateau fractures and compare it with that of an age-matched population in Sweden.
The intrinsically disordered protein α-Synuclein is identified as a major toxic aggregate in Parkinson's as well as several other neurodegenerative diseases. Recent work on this protein has focused on the effects of posttranslational modifications on aggregation kinetics. Among them, O-GlcNAcylation of α-Synuclein has been observed to inhibit the aggregation propensity of the protein.
