Pilot of a multicomponent program for people with dementia and their care partners: Health services staff expectations, experiences and observations.

There is increased recognition of the need to improve post-diagnostic pathways for people with dementia and their care partners living in the community to access rehabilitation services to support independence and wellbeing. However, there is minimal evidence on implementing rehabilitation services for this population. The study aimed to present the expectations and experiences of allied health staff involved in piloting the Sustainable Personalised Interventions for Cognition, Care and Engagement (SPICE) program based at an outpatient clinic of a public rehabilitation hospital.

Exploring the delivery of end-of-life care by community nurses.

Aims: To understand what aspects of care and support were important to bereaved relatives and to explore the experiences of nurses delivering end of life care.

Methods: Interviews and focus groups were undertaken with 17 family members, 31 community nurses and 13 community hospital staff. A workshop was held with 6 family members, 13 community nurses and 3 hospital nurses to review findings and make recommendations for improvement.

Online gallery facilitated art activities for people with dementia during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond: A narrative review.

Art activities for people with dementia have a range of therapeutic benefits including psychosocial wellbeing and enhanced quality of life. Successful art programs promote social engagement, are inclusive and empowering, and enable opportunity for people with dementia to express themselves verbally and non-verbally. The COVID-19 pandemic and associated social distancing precautions have impacted the capacity of art galleries and museums to deliver in-person programs.

Identification and prioritization of tumour-associated antigens for immunotherapeutic and diagnostic capacity in epithelial ovarian cancer: a systematic literature review.

Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) is a prevalent carcinoma in the female population associated with poor prognostic outcomes, in part due to the late stage of the disease at diagnosis. Aiming to identify tumour-associated antigens (TAAs) with the potential to facilitate earlier detection and targeted therapy of EOC, five scientific literature repositories were systemically searched for primary literature sources reporting the expression of a TAA in the tissue or serum of adult females diagnosed with EOC and healthy women. We identified 7120 articles of which 32 met our inclusion criteria and passed the bias-quality assessment.
