Methods: A qualitative study based on content analysis was conducted.

Detecting daily stress is of vital importance for workplace safety and health, and natural speech is recommended as one of the main methods of mental stress detection. This study developed machine-learning models for daily stress detection from real-life speeches by fusing its acoustic and semantic signals. First, we collected real-life speech data from life-stress-catharsis room of online chat platform and established a speech database with real daily stress.

Early Renal Outcomes Following Heart Transplantation Using Organs Procured After Circulatory Death.

Background: Transplantation using hearts obtained through donation after circulatory death (DCD) is increasing, but data on recipient renal outcomes are limited.

Methods And Results: Patients at a single institution who underwent heart transplantation using organs procured through DCD or donation after brain death (DBD) from April 2016 to August 2022 were included in this retrospective cohort study. Hemodynamic measures were collected via right heart catheterization performed 1 week after transplantation.

The West Nile virus genome harbors essential riboregulatory elements with conserved and host-specific functional roles.

West Nile virus (WNV) is an arthropod-borne, positive-sense RNA virus that poses an increasing global threat due to warming climates and lack of effective therapeutics. Like other enzootic viruses, little is known about how host context affects the structure of the full-length RNA genome. Here, we report a complete secondary structure of the entire WNV genome within infected mammalian and arthropod cell lines.
