This study reports results of the first nationwide survey of computed tomography (CT) practice in Ukraine and proposed national diagnostic reference levels (DRLs) for common CT examinations. The collected data included characteristics of CT scanners, frequency of CT exams per anatomical region, dose indices CTDIvol and dose-length product (DLP). National DRLs were proposed at the 75th percentile of median dose indices distributions for four common CT protocols: head without contrast (brain examinations for stroke and trauma), routine chest without contrast, single-phase contrast-enhanced CT of abdomen and pelvis and oncology protocol (chest-abdomen-pelvis).

Objective: The objective of investigation is the determination of conversion factors from measured dosimetric values to equivalent organ / tissue doses by phantom modeling of the exposure conditions and assessment the effective doses of the «standard» patient for the most common types of radiographic examinations in Ukraine.
Materials And Methods: The simulation of patients' exposure for 7 most common types of radiographic exams and fluorography in Ukraine was carried out on a heterogeneous anthropomorphic phantom of a «standard» person. For phantom modeling two groups of X-ray units (modern digital and analogue units which have been in use for more than 15 years) were used.

Introduction: Actuality of the problem of patient safety in oncoradiology in Ukraineis grounded.
Objective: assessment of the safety of patients who performed radiation therapy, and extent of medical and social consequences of erroneous actions of personnel in this area.
Material And Methods: The results of international audit TLD (IAEA / WHO) quality during dosimetry procedures cobalt telehamma vehicles in Ukraine are investigated, as well as legal and regulatory framework providing for the safety of radiotherapy care, scientific publications on patient safety.
The frequencies and effective doses for the most common X-ray diagnostic examinations in Ukraine were assessed in the frame of the European Commission (EC) Study on European Population Doses from Medical Exposure (Dose Datamed 2). The average effective doses for all radiographic procedures were estimated using the ODS-60 software (Finland). The estimation of the effective doses for the chest film fluorography was carried out from the results of own representative measurements with thermoluminescent (TL) dosimetry and a standard Alderson-Rando phantom.

Obtained results showed the necessity of introduction soya-based food in a complex treatment of this infection as it enhances processes of detoxication, positevely influences on functional and structural state of the liver, reduces cytolysis, cholestasis symptomes, mesenchymal and inflamation reactions thus increases the tolerance of antimicobacterial agents.
