[Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring in a young population].

Ambulatory twenty four hour blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) is an exact method, enabling by repeated measurements to create blood pressure profile, which shows a close correlation with end organ damage. Normal values were taken from clinical trials, where the mean age of probands was highly above 30 years.
