Evaluation of different cell cultures for the detection of heat-labile enterotoxins of Escherichia coli strains isolated from pigs.

The sensitivity of various cell cultures to heat-labile enterotoxins (LT) and Verocytotoxin (VT) of fifteen E. coli strains isolated from cases of pig colibacillosis in Poland was estimated and compared with the effect of enterotoxins of four standard E. coli strains.
