[Use of new polymer material in dacryocystorhinostomy].

Diplen, a new polymer, is proposed for forming anastomosis in dacryocystorhinostomy. Bilayer adhesive resolvable film diplen was used in 12 external and 68 endonasal dacryocystorhinostomies. Use of the film promotes a smooth course of the postoperative period, facilitates care of the nasal cavity, and accelerates cure.
