Objectives: It is essential to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) through self-care behaviours and to ascertain the predictors of correct health training for the control of diabetes. The aim of this study was to determine the predictive role of the constructs of the health belief model in encouraging T2DM to adopt self-care behaviours in Bandar Abbas city.
Design: This cross-sectional study was conducted in 2022 in Bandar Abbas.
Objective: Dengue fever is a rapidly spreading viral disease transmitted by mosquitoes, and it is becoming a global concern. This study aimed to assess the awareness, attitude, and performance of the people in Hormozgan province in carrying out preventive behaviors and dengue fever control methods.
Method: This descriptive-analytical study was conducted in 1401 in Bandar Abbas, Iran.
Background: Anxiety is considered a prevalent mental disorder during childhood. Due to the significance of child psychology in critical psychological and health conditions and the fact that parenting styles may affect child health and behavioral issues in prospective life, the present study intends to explore the association of parenting styles and anxiety level among children in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Materials And Methods: The present cross-sectional study used a convenient sampling of all mothers with 5 to 12 children in Bandar Abbas in southern Iran.
Background: The intensity of the perceived stress during the pandemic is a very basic variable for the risk analysis and proper disaster response. The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship between perceived stress and social support during covid-19 in diabetic patients in order to design a suitable plan for a possible pandemic.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in 2021 on 212 diabetics in Hormozgan province / southern Iran.
Background And Aim: Due to the adverse effects of their disease, patients with thalassemia major face many problems such as a lack of proper growth, enlarged spleen and liver, bone disorders, especially the bones of the head and face. As a result of the long treatment process of this disease, other aspects of their life are also affected. The physical and mental problems in this population of patients will lead to frustration and lower social performance and quality of life.
