Electronics based on natural or degradable materials are a key requirement for next-generation devices, where sustainability, biodegradability, and resource efficiency are essential. In this context, optimizing the molecular chemical structure of organic semiconductor compounds (OSCs) used as active layers is crucial for enhancing the efficiency of these devices, making them competitive with conventional electronics. In this work, honey-gated organic field-effect transistors (HGOFETs) were fabricated using four different perylene derivative films as OSCs, and the impact of the chemical structure of these perylene derivatives on the performance of HGOFETs was investigated.

Traditional dissection techniques, such as Klingler's white matter dissection, are essential, but newer methods can provide additional clarity. This study explores the application of a fluorescent-assisted technique to improve the visualization and understanding of white matter fibers during neurosurgical training.

Background: Data on patients aged 90 or older are rare. This study aims to describe clinical characteristics, treatment strategies, and clinical outcomes (rates of VTE recurrence, major bleeding, and mortality), during the first 3 months of anticoagulant treatment for VTE, depending on the treatment period.
Methods: We analyzed data from RIETE, an ongoing global observational registry of patients with objectively confirmed acute VTE, grouped in 5-year intervals (2004-2008, 2009-2013, 2014-2018, and 2019-2023).
Criss-Cross Heart is a congenital cardiac condition characterized by the anomalous twisting of the ventricles relative to the atria during embryonic development. The aim of this study is to assess the advantages and limitations of diagnostic imaging for the diagnosis and approach of patients with Criss-Cross Heart through a scoping review, associated to a case series. A retrospective study was conducted on four patients diagnosed with Criss-Cross Heart.
