Rituximab Safety Profile: A Seven-Year Retrospective Analysis From Southern India.

Objective: This study aimed to analyze the pattern, severity, and outcomes of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) associated with rituximab use reported to a regional pharmacovigilance center in Kerala, India.

Methods: This retrospective study analyzed rituximab-associated ADRs reported from 2017 to 2023. ADRs were assessed using the WHO-UMC criteria for causality and the Modified Hartwig Siegel Scale for severity.

Role of Pancreatic Attenuation Index in Assessing Pancreatic Fat Content and Postpancreatectomy Outcomes.

 High fat content of pancreas can contribute to its soft texture, which is a strong predictor for postoperative pancreatic fistula (POPF). We propose to assess the relationship of pancreatic computed tomography (CT) attenuation index (PAI) with histopathological fat content of pancreas and postpancreatectomy outcomes.  Data was collected prospectively from patients who underwent pancreatic resections from February 2021 to January 2023.

Primary pulmonary artery sarcoma masquerading as pulmonary thromboembolism: a rare diagnosis unveiled.

Background: Primary pulmonary artery sarcomas are rare malignant vascular tumors and carry a very poor prognosis. Due to overlapping clinical and radiological features, the differentiation between pulmonary artery thromboembolism and pulmonary artery sarcoma can be challenging.

Case Presentation: We herein present clinical, radiological and pathological features of primary pulmonary artery high grade sarcoma (angiosarcoma) in a 59-year-old male.
