Accelerating the commercialization of CO electroreduction is essential for carbon utilization, yet it faces challenges of precious metal catalysts cost and scaling-up of the corresponding devices. In this study, a low-cost and tri-coordinated single-atom catalyst (SAC) with Ni-N3 center is fabricated in gram-scale using metal ionic liquids as precursor. The gram-scale Ni-N3 SAC (g-NiN3) achieves efficient electroreduction of CO to CO (eCO-to-CO) with a maximum Faradaic efficiency of 98.

Methods: An analysis was performed on the clinical data of 211 patients diagnosed with stage III colorectal cancer (CRC), treated surgically at the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University and the General Surgery Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University between January 2016 and December 2016. Laboratory data were also compiled for these patients.
Background: The long-term occupational stress experienced by nurses and midwives in obstetrics and gynecology department not only impacts their mental well-being, but also poses a threat to nursing safety and sleep quality of nursing staff. Personality traits and stress coping strategies are believed to play a crucial and distinctive role in regulating stress. It is of great importance to discover effective methods for managing the occupational stress faced by nurses and midwives in obstetrics and gynecology.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA very promising strategy to avoid bacterial drug resistance is to replace antibiotics with artificial nanozymes, but this has not yet been translated to the clinic. Here, we construct a single-atom nanozyme using graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets modified by copper (Cu--CN). This Cu--CN nanosheet possesses both glucose oxidase-like and peroxidase-like activities responsible for reactive-oxygen-species generation by a cascade reaction to eradicate Gram-positive and Gram-negative multidrug-resistant bacteria.

Bioassay results showed that compound SZ displayed superior in vitro antiplatelet aggregation activities induced by Arachidonic Acid (AA) and Collagen (COL) with the IC values of 3.44 and 2.
