Although there is a growing body of research on the effects of a stress mindset on health and well-being, knowledge of the effectiveness of stress mindset interventions in real-world situations is limited and primarily supported by evidence from Western cultural contexts. We examined the effects of a stress mindset intervention with a metacognitive approach on emotional well-being (negative affect, positive affect, anxious affect, and life satisfaction) over 4 months (i.e.

The activin cascade is activated when a pair of extracellular ligand (Myoglianin, Myo; Activin β, Actβ; Dawdle, Daw) binds to two pairs of transforming growth factor β (TGF) serine-threonine receptor kinases, TGF-β type I (Baboon, Babo) and II receptors. However, the roles of activin way have not well been explored in non-Drosophilid insects. In the present paper, we compared the functions of Activin β (Actβ) ligand and receptor isoform BaboB in post-embryonic development in a defoliating ladybird Henosepilachna vigintioctopunctata.

However, there is limited understanding of the composition and function of tongue coating microbiota in chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis.
Methods: Thirty-one non-diabetic hemodialysis patients (nonDM_HD), 29 diabetic hemodialysis patients (DM_HD) and 33 healthy controls (HC) were enrolled.
In order to enhance the aging resistance, high temperature stability and low temperature crack resistance of asphalt pavement materials, 0.06% oxidized graphene (GO) and 12% polyurethane (PU) were used as composite modifiers to modify the base asphalt. The RTFOT test was conducted to evaluate the anti-aging performance of the modified asphalt.

However, its remarkably low natural abundance and the lack of independent ore deposits pose significant challenges to its extraction and recovery processes. In this study, we present the highly efficient adsorption of perrhenate by a cationic polymeric nanotrap material, namely CPN-3VIm.
