Background And Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of intradialytic parenteral nutrition (IDPN) on different nutritional outcomes.

Methods: This was a retrospective analysis for a "routinely collected data bank" in a multicenter cohort, conducted on consecutive malnourished or at-risk of malnutrition patients with chronic kidney disease on hemodialysis who underwent IDPN with a three-in-one parenteral nutrition formula for a period ≥ 2 weeks. The primary endpoint was the mean change in the malnutrition inflammation score (MIS) score between baseline and the last follow-up visit on IDPN.

Bioelectronics holds great potential as therapeutics, but introducing conductive structures within the body poses great challenges. While implanted rigid and substrate-bound electrodes often result in inflammation and scarring in vivo, they outperform the in situ-formed, more biocompatible electrodes by providing superior control over electrode geometry. For example, one of the most researched methodologies, the formation of conductive polymers through enzymatic catalysis in vivo, is governed by diffusion control due to the slow kinetics, with curing times that span several hours to days.

Unlabelled: Individuals with chronic spinal cord injury (SCI) face elevated risks of cardiometabolic diseases, including cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes, due to factors like physical inactivity, neurogenic obesity, and disrupted glucose and insulin regulation. We conducted a prospective intervention cohort study involving 20 individuals with SCI (aged 28-60) with neurologic injuries at levels C4-T10 and ASIA scale grades A-D, lasting over a year. Our study assessed the impact of a therapeutic lifestyle intervention (TLI) based on the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) and its maintenance phase.
