Kaurane-class diterpenoid alkaloids (DAs), an important group of C20-DAs, include mainly veatchine-, napelline-, anopterine- and tricalysiamide-type DAs and several types of DAs with novel skeletons discovered in recent years. To date, approximately 81 compounds belonging to this class of DAs have been isolated from plants in 5 families and 7 genera. Among them, Aconitum is the most important source of this class of DAs.

Herein, we have successfully transformed inexpensive natural kaolinite as hydroxy-sodalite (HySOD) via a simple hydrothermal process, achieving an impressive yield of 91.5 %.

However, ferroptosis is restrained by the ferroptosis suppressor protein 1 (FSP1) at the plasma membrane, which can catalyze the regeneration of ubiquinone (CoQ10) by using NAD(P)H to suppress the LPO accumulation. This work describes the construction of US-active nanoparticles (TiF NPs), which combinate cell-membrane targeting sonosensitizer TBT-CQi with FSP1 inhibitor (iFSP1), facilitating cell-membrane targeting sonodynamic-triggered ferroptosis.

Despite its potential as a therapeutic target, clinical translation is impeded by the lack of a targeting delivery system and effective drug candidate that can modulate steady-state protein levels of β-catenin at post-translational level. Our study addresses these challenges by offering a new approach for OA treatment.

Demethylation inhibitors (DMIs) such as tebuconazole are commonly used pesticides to control TBS. However, their control effect has shown a downward trend in recent years.
