This article presents the results of a comprehensive toxicity assessment of brazzein and monellin, yeast-produced recombinant sweet-tasting proteins. Excessive sugar consumption is one of the leading dietary and nutritional problems in the world, resulting in health complications such as obesity, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease. Although artificial small-molecule sweeteners widely replace sugar in food, their safety and long-term health effects remain debatable.

Our research purpose was to study the effect of the inclusion of a combination of phytobiotics in the form of dry grits (FG) and a mineral adsorbent from the heat-treated mineral shungite (TMS) on milk productivity, nutrient digestibility, and biochemical parameters of the Suksun dairy cows. A total of 80 dry-hardy cows of the Suksun breed were divided into four groups (20 heads each), balanced primarily by breed, age, body weight, body condition score, and indicators of milk yield for the previous lactation. The selected cows were with an average live body weight of 512.

Purpose: Purpose is to study the hepatoprotective effect of a new promising radiation countermeasure flagellin, in the long term after irradiation. The results of the study can be useful for mitigating the consequences of man-made radiation accidents, protecting professional contingents, reducing the toxic effect of radiation therapy, and expanding the range of drug use.

Materials And Methods: Effect of flagellin was investigated 10 months after its administration of irradiated male of mice F1 (CBAхC57Bl/6).

The Russian Federation is implementing a program for dismantling nuclear-powered submarines and nuclear service vessels decommissioned from the Navy. Program personnel may be exposed to mutagenic and carcinogenic factors, including ionizing radiation. Improved preclinical health diagnostics are desirable, for timely identification of health effects, optimization of preventive measures, and medical interventions.
